has in-depth experience of Greek securitisation law, having been involved with a number of corporate bonds and securitisation transactions undertaken by local originators. It acted as special counsel in Greece's first public sector securitisation, as well as in the first Themeleion securitisation by ... Eurobank, which concerned residential mortgage loans amounting to approximately EUR1 billion and for which it drafted a statutory amendment enabling the application of securitisation law to public law receivables. The firm also acted as counsel in one of the first direct issuances of covered bonds by a Greek credit institution, and has wide experience on international issuances of debt securities by Greek companies, having acted as Greek counsel to the underwriters in most high-yield bond issuances by Greek corporates. It has further expertise in the securitisation of consumer loans receivables and shipping loans.
