About Courtney Hikawa

Courtney Hikawa is senior counsel in Norton Rose Fulbright’s Washington, DC office and a versatile international arbitration practitioner with deep expertise in investor-state and commercial disputes. She represents cross-border investors and sovereign governments before the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes and its Additional Facility, and in UNCITRAL proceedings. Her experience spans disputes arising under bilateral investment treaties, government contracts and free trade agreements, including NAFTA and CAFTA-DR. Courtney also handles commercial arbitrations under the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce and the ICC International Court of Arbitration. Fluent in French, Spanish and Japanese, she brings multilingual capabilities to high-stakes disputes.
