About Alice Setari

Alice Setari focuses on EU and Italian competition law in her practice, advising clients on the framework of merger control procedures and in investigations concerning agreements and abuses of dominant position. She also has extensive experience in the broader field of European Union law (a subject in which she holds a PhD), and represents clients in national litigation before administrative courts and in litigation before the courts of the European Union. She also publishes on antitrust matters and lectures at conferences. Alice joined Cleary Gottlieb in 2009, became a senior attorney in 2022, and became a partner in 2026.
