About Jianmin Dai

Jianmin Dai (Ken) is a senior partner at Beijing Dacheng Law Offices, LLP (Shanghai). He holds an LLB from the China University of Political Science and Law and an LLM from the University of Bristol. A pioneer in Chinese privacy, data protection and cybersecurity, Ken was also among the first lawyers to practise antitrust law in China, and has over 19 years’ experience. He has advised numerous multinational and domestic clients across sectors such as life sciences, automotive, technology, FMCG and chemicals on compliance, investigations, merger filings and cross-border data governance, having served as Dacheng Shanghai’s Data Protection Officer.
