About María Emilia Maldonado

María Emilia Maldonado is director of the civil law department at Rodríguez and Company. She works on civil, commercial and criminal matters, and supports the criminal law team on cases with civil and corporate dimensions, including compensation claims arising from white-collar offences and compliance matters for corporate clients. She holds a law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador, a higher specialisation and a Master’s in procedural law from Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar, and a diploma in compliance from Loyola University (Seville).
