About Nicoleta Cherciu

Nicoleta Cherciu is managing partner of Cherciu & Co, focusing on cross-border M&A, VC/private equity transactions, seed to Series B fundraising, and intra-group asset transfers. She advises funds, family businesses, and founders, and previously served as in-house counsel at UiPath (NYSE-listed), where she led M&A deals and negotiated agreements with US corporations. She has authored expert reports on AI regulation for the European Parliament. Nicoleta is pursuing an LLM at the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton Business and Law Certificate, 2026), is a New York Bar candidate (July 2026), and serves as a teaching assistant at Wharton on family business.
