About Marissa Alkhazov

Marissa Alkhazov is the northwest chairperson of Buchalter’s products liability practice group and chairperson of Buchalter’s FDA and regulatory practice group. Her practice revolves around representing manufacturers, distributors, and retailers in complex product liability, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and class action matters. She has extensive experience in mass torts, chemical exposure claims, and toxic tort litigation involving PFAS, benzene, silica, talc, asbestos, and other substances. Marissa has served as trial counsel to Fortune 500 companies and start-ups in the Pacific Northwest and all over the USA. Marissa is a trusted advisor to the cosmetic, supplement, food/beverage, medical device and pharma industry on regulatory compliance, labelling and warnings, due diligence, 510(k) submissions, PMA’s, IDE’s, product approvals, warning letters and investigations before agencies.
