About Oswaldo Santos Dávalos

Oswaldo Santos Dávalos is a partner at SBL. He leads the dispute resolution, arbitration and competition law departments. He has taken part in more than 60 national or international arbitrations under various institutional rules. He sits as an arbitrator at the country's leading centres. Oswaldo serves on the boards of the Arbitration and Mediation Centre of the Ecuadorian-American Chamber of Commerce and Ecuadorian Arbitration Institute, is co-founder of the Ibero-American Institute of Law and Finance, holds a M. Sc. in Law and Finance from the University of Oxford, teaches at several universities in Ecuador, and is the author of academic articles and a speaker at seminars in his areas of specialisation.
