About Mauricio Ejchel

Mauricio Ejchel graduated in law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo in 1994, and has a postgraduate qualification in international relations. He is the founding partner of MF Ejchel International Family Law, which specialises in cases dealing with child abduction. He secured the first precedent in Brazil for the timely return of abducted children under the Hague Convention (1980), and was acknowledged as a reference lawyer in the jurisdiction by both UK and US authorities. He provides expert opinions to foreign courts and is frequently cited in the national media, he publishes widely, and is recognised as a leading expert in the field.
