About Marcelo de Sousa

Marcelo de Sousa is admitted to the Portuguese Bar (Ordem dos Advogados) and focuses on European and Portuguese competition law and foreign direct investment. Based at BLOMSTEIN’s Lisbon office, he advises clients in proceedings before the European Commission and the European courts, in international investigations and merger transactions. He also provides guidance on a wide range of compliance issues. His practice further includes ESG‑related European regulatory and compliance advice, particularly in relation to international trade with Latin America.
