About Martin Schiefer

Martin Schiefer has been recognised as one of Austria’s leading public procurement law experts for more than 20 years and has been named Austria’s Public Procurement Lawyer in 2026. As founding partner of Schiefer Rechtsanwälte, he leads a team of approximately 50 specialists with a strategic, innovative and regionally rooted approach to public procurement. He advises federal ministries, contracting authorities and companies on complex, high-value and reputationally sensitive award procedures, including in defence, security and critical infrastructure.
