About Farida Safwat

Farida Safwat is of counsel and head of disputes and litigation at NHB Legal, with over ten years’ experience advising on complex disputes, including seven years in the UAE and earlier in Egypt. She focuses on litigation and arbitration, with expertise in construction and real estate disputes, advising developers, companies and investors on dispute strategy and high-value commercial matters, from pre-dispute advisory through execution and arbitration. Five years as in-house counsel gives her a strong commercial perspective. Farida holds a BA in political science and international law (AUC) and an LLB (Cairo University), and is trilingual in Arabic, English and French.
