About Müge Tansel

Müge Tansel is a partner at TANSEL, leading the firm’s banking and finance practice. As a banking and finance lawyer with 20 years’ experience gained at major law firms and corporates, including a major bank, she has worked on a wide range of financial transactions in various sectors with a focus on energy, including project finance, acquisition finance, trade finance, restructurings, securitisations, interbank lending, syndications, and bond offerings. She has represented local and foreign banks and corporate borrowers. Her practice also covers M&A, capital markets, sustainability and corporate law. She holds an LLM from UCLA and an LLB from the University of Ankara. She is admitted to the Ankara Bar.
