About Florian Schmidt-Gabain
Florian Schmidt-Gabain
is a lawyer by passion. He specialises in art law, entertainment law, strategic estate planning and foundation law. He develops customised solutions for his clients and likes to think out of the box — and back into it when that turns out to be the best solution. The areas of art and entertainment include music, literature and film. In addition to his work as a practising lawyer, Florian Schmidt-Gabain teaches art law at different Swiss universities and co-founded and heads the post-graduate course “Art and Law” at the University of Zurich’s European Institute. Florian Schmidt-Gabain is admitted to represent parties before all Swiss courts. He regularly publishes in academic journals, writes specialised articles for daily newspapers and gives presentations.
