About Ele Klein

Ele Klein is co-chair of Schulte Roth & Zabel’s M&A and securities and global shareholder activism groups, and a member of the firm’s executive committee. He advises on shareholder activism, M&A, securities law and regulatory compliance, representing activists, investment banks and companies in matters ranging from corporate governance and control to proxy contests and defensive strategies. Ele works on numerous activist campaigns and related transactions for some of the largest private investment groups and investment banks in the United States and abroad. He also advises on private investments in public equity, IPOs and secondary offerings, venture capital financing, and indenture defaults and interpretation, counselling clients in various regulatory areas including insider trading.
