About Thomas Zweifel

Thomas Zweifel focuses on advising clients of CMS von Erlach Partners on real estate and construction law, both in the context of transactions as well as regarding portfolio management and regulatory matters. Furthermore, he also practises in the fields of M&A and general corporate and contract law. Thomas is one of the leading experts in the field of the Federal Act on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Foreigners (known as the “Lex Koller”). Thomas completed his doctoral thesis on this subject in 2021 at the University of Fribourg (summa cum laude) and regularly advises clients on complex issues relating to the Lex Koller.
